HITMEN ACQUIRE DRAFT CHOICES FROM SEATTLE IN EXCHANGE FOR ROMAN TOMANEK

Calgary, AB – Calgary Hitmen General Manager and Co-Coach Kelly Kisio announced today the acquisition of a sixth round draft choice in the 2006 WHL Bantam and a first round choice, 48th overall, in the 2005 CHL Import Draft from the Seattle Thunderbirds in exchange for forward Roman Tomanek.

rTomanek played in 16 games with the Hitmen this past season posting six points on two goals and four assists. Tomanek was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in fourth round, 103rd overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
