CIS Update

CANADA-WEST CONFERENCE REPORT – University of Manitoba Bisons forward Kevin Saurette has been named the Canada-West Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending October 9th.

rThe fifth-year senior scored two goals and added six assists in a two-game series versus the UBC Thunderbirds. Saurette had a career-high six points (2g-4a) in the Bisons 7-2 win over the Thunderbirds on Friday, October 7th, then followed up with two more assists in the Bisons 4-3 overtime defeat to the T-Birds on Saturday, October 8th.

rSaurette, a native of Winnipeg, MB, currently leads all scorers in Canada-West conference play.
