The Seattle Thunderbirds put on a dominating defensive performance as they limited the Prince George Cougars to only 18 shots on goal in a 4-1 victory. Thunderbirds alternate captain Mathew Barzal was named the game’s first star after registering three assists. Seattle and Prince George each were a perfect 6/6 on the penalty kill.

Rehill potted the game winner with five seconds remaining in the third period as the Blazers pulled a stunning come from behind win. Tomas Soustal netted two goals for the Rockets in a losing effort, but earned second star honours for his outing.

The Calgary Hitmen scored three goals in the middle frame en route to a 5-2 nod over the Red Deer Rebels to tie their series at one game apiece.
