Silvertips, Giants to renew postseason rivalry in Round One of 2024 WHL Playoffs
The Everett Silvertips and Vancouver Giants will write a new chapter in the history of their playoff rivalry.
The Silvertips enter Round One as the third seed in the Western Conference, while Vancouver confirmed a sixth-place finish with a tight loss to Kelowna on the final night of the Giants’ regular season.
Everett leads the regular season series against Vancouver 3-1-0-0, with two of the games decided by a single goal.
The teams have only met twice in the WHL playoffs, but both ended in massive upset victories for the underdog Giants.
Most recently, Vancouver defeated Everett in the 2022 WHL Playoffs in six games after the Silvertips finished first in the Western Conference.
The ‘Tips look for vengeance when they hit the ice for Game One at Angel of the Winds Arena on Friday, March 29 at 7:05 p.m. PST.
The series moves to the Langley Events Centre for Game Three on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. PST.
