Wenatchee to face Kelowna in Wild’s first-ever trip to the WHL Playoffs
WHL Playoff hockey is coming to Wenatchee, Wash. for the first time.
The fourth-seeded Wild are set to face the fifth-seeded Kelowna Rockets in Round One of the 2024 postseason.
The matchup was locked in with a Kelowna win over Vancouver to close out their regular season slate.
Wenatchee, which relocated from Winnipeg, advanced to the WHL final in 2022, falling to the Seattle Thunderbirds in five games.
The Wild edged Kelowna 2-1-1-0 in their regular season series.
Playoffs kick off at the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee on Friday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. PST.
The series moves north of the border to Kelowna’s Prospera Place on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:05 p.m. PST.
