2025 WHL Playoffs: Clinching Scenarios – Wednesday, February 26
A Tuesday-night victory has put the Prince George Cougars within striking distance of a berth in the 2025 WHL Playoffs.
The Prince George Cougars can clinch a playoff berth with:
- Any win, overtime loss, or shootout loss versus Kelowna
The Cougars scored three times in the first three minutes of Tuesday’s match against the Rockets to cruise to a 5-2 victory.
Los Angeles Kings prospect Koehn Ziemmer potted a goal and an assist while 2025 NHL Draft-eligible Joshua Ravensbergen stopped 27 of 29 shots.
The Cougars look for a repeat as they host Kelowna (17-34-4-2) again on Wednesday night.
