Czech-born forward Rymon commits to Bowling Green State University
Everett, Wash. – Everett Silvertips forward and recent WHL graduate Dominik Rymon has announced his commitment to Bowling Green State University for the 2025-26 season.
The Karlovy Vary, Czechia local has completed his WHL eligibility after a three-season career with the Silvertips.
The 5-foot-10 forward quickly broke into the Western League scene during the 2022-23 WHL Season, collecting 11 points (2 G-9 A) and a -1 rating in just 18 appearances. Rymon’s offensive prowess only increased as he progressed further into his WHL career, setting a career-high in goals (47), assists (47), and points (81) during the 2023-24 season with the Tips.
In September 2024, the crafty forward returned for one final ride under the bright lights of Angel of the Winds Arena. During his 20-year-old season, Rymon netted an impressive 66 points (30 G-36 A) in 65 games. Rymon went on the win the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy, as the Silvertips were crowned regular season champions for the 2024-25 campaign.
The forward also starred in 19 post-season games over his three-year stint, recording 14 points (5 G-9 A) over that period.
Originally selected in the first round (57th overall) in the 2022 CHL Import Draft by the Silvertips, Rymon graduates from the Western League with 158 points (66 G-92 A) in 140 games.
Rymon is set to join fellow Western Hockey League graduates Connor Levis, Brandon Whynott, Jake Sloan, Brayden Crampton, and Tanner Scott at Bowling Green State University.
