WHERE ARE THEY NOW? – Brandon Jaeger
Long time fans of the Wenatchee Wild will never forget goalie Brandon Jaeger not only for his two solid years in net, but for what happened on the night of Feb 19, 2011 when Jaeger scored a goal, to date the only goalie goal in Wild history. It happened in a home game against the Dawson Creek Rage. He’s in the Top 2 or 3 of nearly every goaltending stat in franchise history.
Brandon put up stellar numbers in his two years with the Wild, and from there went on to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point where he played four seasons and earned a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He joined the Columbus Cottonmouths of the SPHL until a bus accident derailed his pro career. He suffered a dislocated hip, fractured back, and fractured skull in the incident but has since recovered and has returned to the ice as a defenseman in his local men’s league.
He’s currently in his home state of Minnesota, living in Minneapolis where he works as a Public Accounting Auditor at Ernst & Young. He’s married to Jamie Jaeger and has nothing but good recollections of his time in North Central Washington.
“I loved my time living and playing in Wenatchee”, he recalls. “The scenic landscape and the relationships I developed always keep me coming back. I am proud to be a Wenatchee Wild alum!”
