Wenatchee Wild Announce Trade with Kamloops Blazers
WENATCHEE, Wash. – The Wenatchee Wild have announced a trade with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League (WHL), acquiring 2007-born forward Ty Coupland from the Blazers in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2027 WHL Prospects Draft.
Coupland is in his fourth full season of junior competition, and is nearing his 200th appearance in the league. The North Vancouver, British Columbia native has racked up 46 goals and 60 assists over 194 WHL contests with the Blazers, Red Deer Rebels and Swift Current Broncos. He entered the league with the Broncos as their second-round WHL Prospects Draft selection in 2022, just after captaining the Vancouver North West Hawks Under-15 team to a British Columbia provincial title.
The Wenatchee Wild proudly welcome Ty Coupland to the Wild family.
