Warriors Top Tigers
Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers fell to Eastern Conference rivals, the Moose Moose Jaw Warriors 6-3 on Saturday night.
Defenceman Jordan Bendfeld opened the scoring for the Tigers before the Warriors responded for four straight to take a 4-1 lead.
Mark Isherwood and rookie Linden Vey scored for the Tigers to narrow the gap to one goal before Moose Jaw scored two goals, including one empty net goal, to secure the win.
Goaltender Ryan Holfeld started the game for the Tigers, surrendering four goals before be replaced by Tomas Vosvrda. Vosvrda stopped 13 of 14 shots in relief.
Medicine Hat was 0 for 5 on the power play, while Moose Jaw was held scoreless on four man advantage opportunities.
