Tigers’ Captain Daine Todd Named Player of the Week
Medicine Hat, AB – The PARKCITY TOYOTA – Medicine Hat Tigers Player of the Week for the week ending December 2nd, 2007 is forward Daine Todd.
The Tigers Captain earned player of the week honours by recording two goals and five points in three games this past week.
After being held scoreless in the Tigers 3-0 loss to the Regina Pats on Friday, November 30th, Daine responded with a goal and two assists as the Tigers defeated the WHL’s top team, the Spokane Chiefs 4-3 on Saturday, December 1st.
On Sunday, December 2nd, Daine recorded two points (1G, 1A), including the game tying goal with under a minute to play in regulation time in a 3-2 shoot-out loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings.
Daine, a 20-year-old free agent, has compiled 10 goals and 29 points in 28 games since returning from the Tampa Bay Lightning training camp.
Honourable mention goes to forward Tyler Ennis.
