Tigers Axe Moose Jaw
The Medicine Hat Tigers got back into the win column with a 4-1 win over the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday night.
Rookie Wacey Hamilton scored his first goal in the WHL and added an assist to lead the Tigers.
Defencemen Shayne Brown and Trevor Glass, each with their first of the season, scored from the blueline and Jordan Hickmott added his first of the season as well.
Tigers rookie Sean Ringrose added two assists in the win.
Goaltender Tomas Vosvrda stopped 22 of 23 shots for his second home ice victory of the season.
Medicine Hat was held scoreless on nine power plays, while Moose Jaw finished 1 for 8.
