Former Tiger Matt Lowry Signs with AHL’s Senators
Brandon, Manitoba — The American Hockey League's Binghampton Senators have announced the signing of former Brandon Wheat King Matt Lowry.
A 21-year old Neepawa product, Lowry is coming off an outstanding season what was his final WHL season that saw him score 13 goals, 77 points and accumulate 75 penalty minutes in 71 games. As well, he registered a career high plus minus ranking of +16.
A member of the 2007 Western Hockey League champion Medicine Hat Tigers, Lowry spent the past two seasons in Brandon and finished his major junior career with 47 goals and 160 points in 209 career games.
As a member of the Medicine Hat Tigers, Lowry recorded 10 goals and 22 points in 66 WHL Regular Season games, while playing in 22 playoff games.
