Edmonton Oil Kings Add To Their Roster At WHL Expansion Draft

The Edmonton Oil Kings added a number of players to their roster at the 2007 Western Hockey League Edmonton Expansion Draft.

General Manager Bob Green, along with his scouting staff, made their final picks after carefully examining the lists of protected players supplied by each team in the league.

Included in the Oil Kings selections were Edmonton natives J.P. Szaszkiewicz, a left-winger from the Spokane Chiefs, Brent Henke, a local Midget AAA player whose rights were held by the Kootenay Ice, and Bretton Stamler, a 4- year WHL veteran with the Seattle Thunderbirds who is originally from Beaumont, AB and now resides in Edmonton.
