Jakin Smallwood and Connor McClennon each had a pair of markers for the ICE.
MILESTONES: Lukas Svejkovsky recently played his 150th career WHL game. The Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick has 110 points (49G, 61A) and is only 1 goals shy of his 50th career goal. Corson Hopwo is closing in on his 100th career WHL point. The forward from Duncan, BC needs only 6 points to cross that threshold. Tigers Defenceman Dru Krebs is only two games away from his 100th career WHL game.
PLAYER TO WATCH: Noah Danielson was a 4th round draft pick (87th overall) of the Tigers in the 2017 WHL Prospect Draft. The 5’9 forward from Red Deer, AB has already set a new career high in goals (5) and in points (10). Danielson plays a complete 200-foot game and sees the ice very well.
