2016-2017 YEAR IN REVIEW: PART 1 – MAJOR MILESTONES
Medicine Hat, AB — As the Tigers season came to a dramatic end on April 18th to the hands of the Lethbridge Hurricanes, many good moments happened throughout the season. Players hit some memorable milestones in their career.

September 24th, 2016 vs. Lethbridge – Duncan McGovern records his first WHL victory stopping 15 of 17 shots
September 30th, 2016 vs. Saskatoon – Kristians Rubins scores the first goal in his WHL career

March 4th, 2017 vs. Moose Jaw – John Dahlstrom scores his 25th goal of the season, breaking the Tigers record for most goals by an Import in one season
March 7th, 2017 vs. Kootenay – Max Gerlach records his 100th WHL point with an assist
March 10th, 2017 vs. Edmonton – Matt Bradley scores his 30th goal of the season
March 14th, 2017 vs. Red Deer – Chad Butcher plays in his 300th WHL game (All with the Tigers), he would finish 8th All-Time in games played
March 17th, 2017 vs. Lethbridge – John Dahlstrom scores his 30th goal of the season
March 17th, 2017 vs. Lethbridge – Chad Butcher records 100 points on the season
March 18th, 2017 vs. Lethbridge – Clayton Kirichenko records a +50 rating and 50 assists, the first Tigers defenseman to do so since David Schlemko in 2006-07
March 18th, 2017 vs. Lethbridge – Mark Rassell records his 100th WHL point
As next season approaches, new faces will join the lineup looking for their 1st ever goal and many familiar faces will look to pad their stats and create new memories for the fans of Medicine Hat.
