FORMER TIGER ENNIS HEADED TO WILD
Medicine Hat, AB — Former Tiger Tyler Ennis is now a Minnesota Wild. After spending his entire NHL career in Buffalo Ennis will make his way to Minnesota this season to play with Zach Parise and the Wild. Also joining the Wild this offseason is Mason Shaw who was drafted by the club in the 4th Round last Saturday.
Ennis was a first-round draft pick in 2008 of the Sabres. Last season, he had just five goals in 51 games. He’s signed for two more years at a cap hit of $4.6 million.
Ennis’ Tiger career spanned 4 seasons beginning in 2005-06 and saw the forward win a WHL Championship in 2006-2007. Ennis was a dynamic forward for the Tabbies and is well known for his incredible 6 goal performance against the Prince Albert Raiders during the 2007-2008 season.
