Andrej Kukuca

2018-19: Kukuca played 59 games in his first season with the T-Birds and had 25 goals and 32 assists for 57 points with 26 penalty minutes. He led the team in scoring in the playoffs with four goals and three assists for seven points in six games against Vancouver. Kukuca scored two goals in a game four times this season. He had three assists at Portland on March 17 and five times had two assists in a game. Kukuca had two goals and two assists vs. Medicine Hat on February 9. Four times this season he had three points in a game. Kukuca had one four-game goal streak, one three-game goal streak and three two-game goal streaks. He was second on the team in power-play goals with nine, three behind Matthew Wedman. Kukuca played for Team Slovakia at the 2019 World Junior Championship in Vancouver, British Columbia from December 26, 2018, to January 5, 2019.

2017-18: Kukuca played in 42 games for HK Dukla Trencin’s U20 team where he recorded 41 goals, 26 assists, and 67 total points. He scored the most goal this season in the Slovakia U20 league. In 2018, NHL Central Scouting ranked Kukuca at 84 for the NHL entry draft. Dukla Trencin also won the Slovakia U20 Championship this year. In 18 playoff games he had 18 goals and 10 assists for 28 points.  

2016-17: Kukuca played in 25 games with the HK Dukla Trencin U18 team and 22 games with the U20 team. In total for this season he scored 34 goals and recorded 27 assists to total 61 points. Kukuca was on the U18 team at the time they won the Slovakian U18 Championship.
