Wall Captures CHL Goalie of the Week

Everett Silvertips goaltender Michael Wall received a prestigious honor by being named the CHL Goalie of the Week. Wall finished last week with a 2-0 record including a shutout against the Seattle Thunderbirds on Saturday, February 5. The Telkwa, B.C. native also compiled a Goals Against Average of 0.50 and a Save Percentage of .975%. The award is the first major weekly award won by a Silvertips player in their franchise history.

Wall is currently 5th among WHL goaltenders in Goals Against Average (2.04), 4th in Save Percentage (.924), 10th in Wins (19) and tied for 1st in Shutouts (9).

Each week during the regular season, the CHL will recognize the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Week and will present the ADT CHL Goaltender of the Year Award to the CHL’s top netminder at the conclusion of the 2004-05 season.
