Join us Friday for Navy Night!

Join the Everett Silvertips in celebrating our local sailors during our 2015 Navy Appreciation Night on Friday, Feb. 20th as we take on the Tri-City Americans!  You can be in the crowd for the ROOT Sports television cameras and enjoy another Hockey Happy Hour, plus the first 5,000 fans through the doors get green glow sticks courtesy of the Dwayne Lane’s Family of Auto Centers!

The ‘Tips are proud to host the men and women of Naval Station Everett as we honor their bravery and dedication to defending our freedom.  As usual, the event will include a swearing-in of future sailors on the ice during intermission.

We will be auctioning off commemorative “Navy Night” Silvertips jerseys with blue digi-cam numbers and selling special blue Navy Night pucks to raise money for the Naval Recruiting District Seattle Petty Officer’s Association.  The group makes an impact around our community both on and off the base and supports sailors in a variety of ways both on and off the base (e.g. restoring a flooded baseball field, painting over graffiti, or covering travel costs for sailors with family emergencies).

In conjunction with Hockey Weekend Across America, Friday’s game will also be televised live on ROOT SPORTS Northwest.  Help us fill the rink and show viewers what Silvertip Country is all about!

Friday is also another Hockey Happy Hour featuring great food and drink specials up until the 7:35 pm opening puck drop! The Southeast entrance to XFINITY Arena opens at 6:00pm, a full 90 minutes prior to the game. 

Hockey Happy Hour specials for Feb. 20 vs. Tri-City:

$5  Draft beers
$5  16 oz. bottled beer
$1  Popcorn, small
$5  Wing special (hot/bbq wings)
$3  Pizza slices with the purchase of any beverage

$15 Silvertips “Operation Hat Trick” hats all game long (normally $22) – a portion of the proceeds benefit wounded servicemembers and veterans
