Alessandro “Sandro” Benin joined the Silvertips Scouting Staff in 2015-2016.

He is also entering his ninth season as Assistant GM of Ambrì Piotta Hockey Club in the Swiss “A” men league.

After an internship with the Trail Smoke Eaters in 1999-2000, where he worked with current Silvertips General Manager Garry Davidson, Alessandro moved back to Europe where he is in his 19th season in hockey management. His stops include Lugano, Langnau, Milan Vipers, Team Canada at the Spengler Cup, Italian national team and Milan Black Angels.
