Royals Sign Ryland Moore to WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement
Victoria, B.C. – The Victoria Royals have signed 2009-born defenseman Ryland Moore to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Hailing from Winnipeg, M.B., Moore was drafted in the seventh round, 138th overall in the 2024 WHL Draft to the Royals. Currently in his second year with his Winnipeg Bruins U18 AAA team, Moore has 27 goals and 35 assists for 62 points so far in 42 games played this season.
“Ryland is a puck-moving defenseman capable of playing any situation” says Royals Director of Scouting & Hockey Operations Brayden Beckley. “He’s had a tremendous season, leading all defensemen in scoring in the Manitoba U18 AAA league and doubling his point total from last year. Ryland’s development is exemplary of his patience and hard work”.
Ryland is the younger brother of Victoria Royals centre Hayden Moore.
