Prospects Camp
RED DEER, AB – Jesse Wallin, Vice-President of HockeyOperations/Head Coach of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today that theteam will hold a prospects camp June 4-6 at the Red Deer Arena. Participating in the camp will benon-roster players born in 1993, 1994 and 1995 who are currently on the RedDeer Rebels 50-man protected list. There will be 26 players attending, including many of the Rebels’selections from the 2010 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Taking part this weekend will be the Rebels first roundpick in 2010, Kayle Doetzel (Rosetown, SK), and their first round pick in 2009,Mathew Dumba (Calgary, AB).
The Rebels hockey operations staff of Jesse Wallin, RandyPeterson, Dale McMullin, Andy Nowicki and Bryce Thoma will conduct the camp andevaluate the players in preparation for the 2010-2011 Western Hockey Leagueseason. The Red Deer Rebels Rookie and Main Training Camp will begin withon-ice sessions Sunday, August 29th.
All sessions are open to the public.
