Raiders Deal Holowko To Kamloops
Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have traded 1997-born winger Nic Holowko to the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
Holowko, a Burnaby, BC product, played in 26 games with the Raiders this season, scoring twice and adding five assists. Holowko has played in 161 career WHL games split between the Raiders and the Seattle Thunderbirds. He was acquired by the Raiders from Seattle during training camp.
“We had this in the works for quite some time,” said Raiders general manager Curtis Hunt. “Good luck to Nic as he continues his career.”
The Raiders’ next home game is on Tuesday, December 13 against the Edmonton Oil Kings on Santa Anonymous Night presented by the Prince Albert Optimist Club. Fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped present for donation to the Salvation Army.
