Raiders acquire third round pick from Pats for Derkatch

The Prince Albert Raiders have traded the rights to 2007-born forward Dayce Derkatch to the Regina Pats. In exchange, the Raiders receive Regina’s 2026 3rd round pick (originally belonging to Saskatoon).

A Regina, SK product, Derkatch suited up in 57 career games as a Raider. The forward scored three goals and registered five assists for eight points. He also scored once in seven games in the 2025 WHL Playoffs Presented by Nutrien.

Derkatch was a third round pick, 64th overall by Prince Albert in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft. He was re-assigned by the Raiders last week.
