Game Preview: Raiders vs. Brandon
RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (18-42-5-2) close out their six-game home stand tonight when they open a home-and-home series with the Brandon Wheat Kings (29-27-7-3) tonight at the Art Hauser Centre. On Tuesday, the Raiders allowed two late third period goals in a 4-2 loss to the Swift Current Broncos. Parker Kelly opened the scoring for the Raiders nine minutes into the contest. Five minutes later, the Broncos tied it up to make it 1-1 after 20 minutes. Following a scoreless second, Kaden Elder gave Swift Current a 2-1 lead midway through the frame. Less than three minutes later, Kelly tallied his second goal of the game to knot it back up at 2-2. With 58 seconds left, Tyler Steenbergen scored the game-winning goal for the Broncos. Ryley Lindgren added an empty-net goal to round out the scoring.
VS. BRANDON Tonight is fifth of six games between the Raiders and the Wheat Kings this season. In the last meeting between the two sides, the Raiders scored twice in the first period and didn’t look back en route to a 4-1 win over the Wheat Kings in Brandon. The Raiders lead the season series 3-0-1-0.

ROSTER MOVES: The Raiders have added 2000-born winger Nikita Krivokrasov to the roster for the remainder of the season. Krivokrasov, who signed with the Raiders at the end of training camp, scored 18 goals and added 8 assists in 18 games played for the U16 Rocky Mountain Roughriders of the Colorado Amateur Hockey Association.
STREAKING SCORERS: Parker Kelly extended his point streak to four games on Tuesday night with a two-goal performance. The 17-year-old sophomore has now scored four of the last five Raiders’ goals. Also streaking is Simon Stransky, who has at least a point in each of his last three games. He has a goal and three assists in that span.
LEADING THE SERIES: To go along with his three-game streak, Simon Stransky has been very successful against the Brandon Wheat Kings this season. The 19-year-old winger has three goals and five assists in four games against Brandon this season.
