RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders are back in action in the Subway Hub Centre tonight against the Moose Jaw Warriors. On Friday night in the season opener, three-point nights from Ozzy Wiesblatt (1g-2a) and Reece Vitelli (1g-2a) paced the Raiders to a 6-3 win over the Regina Pats. Evan Herman (1g-1a) and Remy Aquilon (2a) also had multi-point games. Matthew Culling, Logan Danis, and Tyson Laventure scored the other Raider goals. Max Paddock made 28 saves for the win.

MAKE IT SIX: The Raiders had six different goal scorers in Friday night’s win over the Pats. Last season, the Raiders had at least six different players find the back of the net fives times, most recently on March 3 in an 8-3 win over the Calgary Hitmen.
TRIO FOR VITELLI: In his 200th career WHL game, Reece Vitelli recorded his first three-point night in the win over the Regina Pats. He also notched his first game-winning goal as a member of the Raiders.
[related_links] DOUBLING DOWN: With a pair of assists on Friday night, Remy Aquilon picked up the first multi-point game of his WHL career. The Kelowna, BC product had a goal and five assists while playing in all 64 games with the Raiders last season.
FIRST POINT: After making his debut with the Raiders in the final game before last season’s stoppage, Graydon Gotaas picked up his first career point in his second career game on Friday night against the Regina Pats. He assisted on Tyson Laventure’s goal in the first period.
DEBUT DAY: Four players made their Raiders debut on Friday night against the Pats. Niall Crocker, Logan Linklater, and Adam McNutt all played their first career WHL game; Logan Danis suited up in his first game with the Raiders.
SCORING CHANGE: The assists on Ozzy Wiesblatt’s season-opening goal were changed. Evan Herman was credited with an assist instead of Niall Crocker.
