Raiders Weekly – November 18
Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders hit the road for a week-long trip to Alberta beginning on Wednesday night.
The Raiders are coming off a split of last week’s schedule. They picked up a point in a shootout loss to the Pats in Regina on Saturday night. On Sunday, the Raiders returned to the Art Hauser Centre to knock off the Calgary Hitmen in overtime.
This week, the Raiders begin their Alberta swing in Red Deer on Wednesday night against the Rebels (7-11-0-3) at the Westerner Park Centrium. The Rebels won the only matchup between the two teams this season, edging the Raiders 3-2 at the Art Hauser Centre on Nov. 9. Wednesday’s puck drop is 8 p.m.
On Friday, the trip continues in Lethbridge against the Hurricanes (14-6-0-3) at the ENMAX Centre. The Raiders won the first game against the Hurricanes this season 4-2 on Oct. 11 in Prince Albert. Game time on Friday is 8 p.m.
The trip wraps up in Medicine Hat on Saturday against the Tigers (14-6-1-0) at the Canalta Centre. This is the first time the Raiders and Tigers have squared off this season. Last season, the Raiders won all four of the games against the Tigers. The game starts at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Also this week, the auction for the jerseys worn on the upcoming Ugly Christmas Sweater Night Presented By Lakeland Ford begins on Monday at 1 p.m. CST. Jerseys can be bought outright for $450 or bidding starts at $250. The online portion of the auction ends on Thursday, December 12 at 5 p.m. CST. From there, jerseys that have not been bought outright will continue as a silent auction at the game on December 13. Check out the auction here.
The next Raiders’ home game is Friday, November 29 when the Swift Current Broncos make their first trip to the Art Hauser Centre this year. Puck drop is 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Raiders Office and online here.
