RAIDER REVIEW: The Raiders (27-1-0-1) play the return leg of their home-and-home series with the Brandon Wheat Kings (14-8-3-3) tonight at the Art Hauser Centre. Last night at Westoba Place in Brandon, the Raiders downed the Wheat Kings 5-2. Cole Fonstad, Noah Gregor, and Cole Fonstad each had a goal and an assist in the win. Eric Pearce and Sean Montgomery also found the back of the net. Donovan Buskey earned his fifth win in as many appearances with the Raiders by making 24 saves.
VS. BRANDON: This is the third time that the Raiders will take on the Wheat Kings this season, but the first in Prince Albert. Last season, the Raiders won all three games played between the two teams at the Art Hauser Centre. The Raiders are 7-1-1-0 at the Art Hauser Centre in the last five years against Brandon.

CAREER BEST: With a goal on Friday, Sean Montgomery set a new career high in points with 30 in 29 games played. His previous high was set last season in 72 contests. The Calgary product is one away from tying his career high in goals of 13, which was set during the 2016-17 campaign. His 12 goals matches his totals for the 2015-16 and 2017-18 seasons.
AWAY FROM HOME: Ozzy Wiesblatt had a successful time away from the Art Hauser Centre. The rookie from Calgary had a point in six of the seven games away from Prince Albert. Over that streak, Wiesblatt had four goals and four assists, bringing his season total to six goals and six assists. He also had both of his multi-point games in two of the past three outings.
STREAK SNAPPED: Eric Pearce’s first-period goal on Friday night was his first goal in eight contests. It was also his first goal scored this season that wasn’t against the Regina Pats. The Regina product also found the back of the net for the first time outside of Saskatchewan in his WHL career.
NEXT UP: The Raiders are in Saskatoon on Sunday afternoon to take on the Blades (17-10-3-0) at SaskTel Centre.
