GAME DAY: Hurricanes Made Quick Trip to Red Deer
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes travel to Red Deer to face the Rebels tonight at 5:00pm at the ENMAX Centrium.
The Hurricanes (22-21-6-0) are coming off their second straight overtime loss on Friday as they were handed a 3-2 defeat by the Moose Jaw Warriors. The ‘Canes fell behind 2-0 in the game and battled back as Keltie Jeri-Leon and Jadon Joseph each scored in the game. The Hurricanes enter play tonight with a 9-13-2-0 on the road this season.
The Rebels (12-25-8-3) are coming off a 3-2 overtime victory last night over the Kelowna Rockets at home. Mason McCarty and Josh Tarzwell scored in regulation while Kristian Reichel netted the overtime winning goal. The win was just Red Deer’s second in their last ten games as they are 2-5-2-1 in that span.
Tonight will be the fourth meeting this season between the Hurricanes and the Rebels; Lethbridge has posted a 3-0-0-0 record against Red Deer this season and are 15-1-1-0 in their last 17 regular season match-ups against the Rebels dating back to February 13th, 2015.
