GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look to Rebound Against ICE
Winnipeg, MB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will look to end a two-game losing streak tonight as they visit the Winnipeg ICE at 6:30pm MT at Wayne Fleming Arena in the second of a two-game visit to the Manitoba Capital.
The Hurricanes (9-4-0-3) enter after suffering back-to-back shootout losses after a 4-3 defeat on Wednesday in the first of two meetings against Winnipeg. Oliver Okuliar, Calen Addison and Dino Kambeitz scored in the loss while Carl Tetachuk made 39 saves. The Hurricanes enter having collected points in eight straight games posting a 6-0-0-2 record in that span.
The ICE (7-5-1-0) won their third straight home game on Wednesday with the victory over the Hurricanes. Austin Schellenberg, Owen Pederson and Michael Milne scored in the win while Michal Teply and Isaac Johnson scored in the shootout. The win improved Winnipeg’s record to 4-1-0-0 in their last five games.
