Clear Sky Radio is seeking an experienced and passionate sports broadcaster to be the play-by-play voice of the Western Hockey League’s Lethbridge Hurricanes.
r
The Hurricanes are moving to CJOC-FM, 94.1 “The Lounge” this season.
r
This is a rare opportunity to call the play-by-play for a major junior hockey team in a medium size market. To be considered, you will:
r
– Have previous or current play-by-play experience, preferably with a major junior hockey league and team.
r- Be willing to make a multi-year commitment to be the play-by-play voice of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and CJOC-FM “94.1 The Lounge”
r- Have a solid knowledge of hockey in general and the Western Hockey League in particular.
r- Have an impeccable work ethic and desire to further your career as the premier play-by-play broadcaster in the Western Hockey League.
r
In addition to play-by-play, you will host a weekly “call in show” dedicated to the WHL and the Hurricanes, prepare a daily “Hurricanes Report” and weekly “Player Profiles”.
r
As an employee of CJOC-FM “94.1 The Lounge”, you will have additional responsibilities in addition to hockey. These will depend on your background and experience but may include a position in our news/information department or as a member of our on-air team.
