ENMAX Pre-Season: Hurricanes continue their ENMAX Pre-Season schedule this Saturday in Wainwright, Alberta against the Red Deer Rebels. The ‘Canes will be back at the ENMAX Centre on Friday, September 14th when they welcome the Swift Current Broncos. Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 (cash only) at any Gas King location in Lethbridge or at the Lethbridge Hurricanes Office.
Dairy Queen Home Opener: The Hurricanes will kick off their 32nd season on Friday, September 21st when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers at the ENMAX Centre in the Dairy Queen Home Opener. The ‘Canes will face the Tigers in a season opening home-and-home set for the eighth straight season.
Individual Game Tickets: Individual game tickets and flex packs will go on sale on Wednesday, September 12th at 9:00am. Tickets will be available for purchase online, in person at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328).
Season Tickets Still On Sale: Season Tickets for the 2018-2019 campaign are still available for purchase. Secure your seat for all 34 home games plus season ticket holder perks including priority on Playoff tickets and select pre-sale opportunities for events at the ENMAX Centre. Season Tickets start at $400 and can be purchased by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328).
Season Ticket Pick-Up: The annual Season Ticket Pick-Up will take place on Tuesday, September 11th from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre. There will be beef on a bun, you can meet the players and get your season ticket packages.

Friday, August 31st – 5-4 OT Win vs. Medicine Hat: Jordy Bellerive scored twice, including the OT winner, as the ‘Canes edged the Tigers 5-4 in overtime at the ENMAX Centre. Nick Dorrington, Jake Elmer and Keltie Jeri-Leon scored the other goals in the win. Carl Tetachuk earned the win.
Saturday, September 1st – 6-3 Loss at Medicine Hat (in Taber): The ‘Canes fell 6-3 Saturday to the Tigers in Taber. Noah Boyko, Taylor Ross and Ty Prefontaine scored in the losing cause while Akira Schmid took the loss allowing six goals on 33 shots.

Saturday, September 8th – at Red Deer (In Wainwright): The Hurricanes continue the 2018 ENMAX Pre-Season schedule this Saturday when they travel to Wainwright to face the Red Deer Rebels. The ‘Canes will conclude the ENMAX Pre-Season with a home-and-home against Swift Current September 14th and 15th.

NEWS & NOTES
Hurricanes Sit at 28: The Hurricanes currently have 28 players on their roster after trimming by nine players Tuesday morning. The team re-assigned Drew Englot, Jett Jones, Nick Dorrington, Zack Stringer, Jacob Boucher, Jonah Regier, Joe Arntsen and Bryan Thomson while releasing Brendan Stafford.
ENMAX Pre-Season Split: The Hurricanes opened the 2018 ENMAX Pre-Season schedule with a split with the Medicine Hat Tigers over the long weekend. The ‘Canes earned a 5-4 overtime victory at the ENMAX Centre on Friday before falling 6-3 in Taber on Saturday.
Three Signed: The Hurricanes signed three players out of their ENMAX Training Camp. The ‘Canes inked 16-year-old forwards Nick Dorrington and Jett Jones and 15-year-old defenseman Joe Arntsen. Dorrington and Jones were both undrafted in the WHL Bantam Draft while Arntsen was taken by the Hurricanes in the second round (35th overall) this past draft in May.
