Dairy Queen Home Opener: The Hurricanes will kick off their 32nd season on Friday, September 21st when they host the Medicine Hat Tigers at the ENMAX Centre in the Dairy Queen Home Opener. The ‘Canes will face the Tigers in a season opening home-and-home set for the eighth straight season. Tickets are available Lethbridge Dairy Queen locations while quantities last.
Tailgate Party: The Hurricanes will once again be holding a Tailgate Party prior to the start of the Dairy Queen Home Opener. The party will run from 5:00pm until 7:00pm and will include a BBQ with burgers, chips and pop courtesy of Browns Socialhouse, by donation – suggested donation is $5.00. Proceeds will go to the United Way of Lethbridge.
Vandervlis Jersey: The Hurricanes will be wearing special Ryan Vandervlis warm-up jerseys prior to Friday’s game. The jerseys will then by auctioned off online during and after the game with all proceeds going to the Vandervlis family and KidSport. Warm ups begin at 6:25pm, so fans are encouraged to be in the building in advance.
Individual Game Tickets: Individual game tickets and flex packs went on sale on Wednesday, September 12th. Tickets will be available for purchase online, in person at the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328).
Season Tickets Still On Sale: Season Tickets for the 2018-2019 campaign are still available for purchase until Wednesday at 5:00pm. Season Tickets start at $400 and can be purchased by calling 403-329-7328.
AGM: The Hurricanes Annual Meeting of the Shareholders will take place on Monday, September 17th in the Canadian Western Bank Lounge at the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm. This meeting will be for Hurricanes Shareholders only.

Friday, September 14th – 7-0 Win vs. Swift Current Broncos: The Hurricanes earned a lopsided 7-0 win Friday at the ENMAX Centre over the Swift Current Broncos. Keltie Jeri-Leon scored four goals and added an assist while Logan Barlage scored once and added three assists. Reece Klassen made an 18-save shutout.
Saturday, September 15th – 5-1 Loss at Swift Current Broncos: The ‘Canes concluded their ENMAX Pre-Season with a 5-1 loss in Swift Current against the Broncos. Ty Prefontaine scored the lone goal.

Friday, September 21st – vs. Medicine Hat Tigers: The Hurricanes open the 2017-2018 regular season on Friday against the Tigers. It will be the eighth straight season that the ‘Canes will open the season against Medicine Hat.
Saturday, September 22nd – at Medicine Hat Tigers: The ‘Canes will make the first of five trips this regular season to Medicine Hat to take on the Tigers. It will be the first of a three-game road stretch for the Hurricanes.

ENMAX Pre-Season: The Hurricanes finished the 2018 ENMAX Pre-Season with a 3-2 record. The ‘Canes earned wins over the Medicine Hat Tigers, Red Deer Rebels and Swift Current Broncos while losing to the Tigers and Broncos.
KJL: Keltie Jeri-Leon ripped up the ENMAX Pre-Season collecting eight points (5g-3a) in just four games. Jeri-Leon, who enters his third year in the WHL, had a four goals, five point game in a 7-0 win over the Broncos last Friday.
Puck Stopper: Reece Klassen had a stellar pre-season. The second-year netminder posted a 2-0-0-0 record in three appearances with a 1.57 goals against average and a .938 save percentage along with one shutout.
