GAME DAY: Hurricanes Open Home Three-in-Four Against Rebels
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a four-game homestand tonight as they welcome the Red Deer Rebels at 7:00pm at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
The Hurricanes (9-17-0-1) enter after opening their homestand with a 6-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday. Kade Duell scored twice while Tyden Lafournaise, Hudson Kibblewhite, Easton Daneault and Luke Cozens added the others in the win; Koen Cleaver made 28-saves in the victory. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 6-5-0-0 record in their last 11 games while having gone 4-2-0-1 in their last seven outings at home. The ‘Canes have a 4-7-0-1 record on home-ice this season.
The Rebels (9-12-1-2) enter after ending November with a 4-3 victory over the Calgary Hitmen on Sunday at Scotiabank Saddledome. Matthew Gard, Aleksey Chichkin, Beckett Hamilton and Landon MacSwain scored in the victory while Matthew Kondro made 17-saves. Red Deer enters tonight with a 5-4-1-2 road record this year while having posted a record of 5-3-1-0 in nine games in November.
Tonight will be the fourth of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Rebels; Lethbridge has posted a 1-2-0-0 record against Red Deer this season having gone 0-1-0-0 on home ice.

VS. REBELS: Tonight will be the fourth of eight meetings between the Hurricanes and the Rebels. Lethbridge has posted a 1-2-0-0 record against Red Deer this season after posting a record of 7-1-0-0 against the Rebels last year. Road Trip Wrap: Lethbridge ended a season-long seven-game road trip last Friday with a 6-2 loss in Prince George to the Cougars. The Hurricanes ended their trip with a 3-4-0-0 record while posting a 3-3-0-0 record through six games in British Columbia. In total, the ‘Canes traveled over 5,000 kilometres on their 13-day road trip which is a longer distance than traveling from Los Angeles to New York City.
November Reflections: The Hurricanes ended their 11-game month of November with a 6-5-0-0 record ending the month with a 6-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors on November 28th. The ‘Canes posted a record of 3-1-0-0 at home and a 3-4-0-0 record on the road during the month. Big Trade: On November 9th, the Hurricanes acquired 2006-born forward Kayden Longley, prospect Grayson Bauer along with five draft picks including a conditional first-round pick in 2026 from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for overage forward Shane Smith and the WHL rights to 2007-born import forward Vojtech Cihar.
