GAME DAY: Hurricanes Look to Bounce Back in Edmonton
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to action tonight as they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings at 7:00pm at the Downtown Community Arena.
The Hurricanes (6-7-2-0) had their three-game winning streak snapped on Thursday with a 4-0 loss to the Oil Kings at the ENMAX Centre. Carl Tetachuk made 23-saves in the defeat as the ‘Canes were shutout for the second time this season. Lethbridge enters play tonight with a 2-3-2-0 road record this season.
The Oil Kings (13-1-0-0) won their fourth straight game with the 4-0 victory Thursday. Four different goal scorers lit the lamp in the win as Carson Latimer, Jayden Henderson, Jalen Luypen and Matthew Robertson all struck while Sebastian Cossa made 30-saves for his second shutout of the season. Edmonton is 6-1-0-0 at home this year.
