GAME DAY: Hurricanes Host Tigers in Teddy Bear Toss
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight at 7:00pm at the ENMAX Centre in the 2019 Canadian Tire Toque and Teddy Toss.
The Hurricanes (17-9-0-4) enter on a three-game losing streak after suffering a 3-1 loss on Wednesday to the Everett Silvertips. Oliver Okuliar scored the lone goal in the game while Bryan Thomson made 34 saves in the defeat. The ‘Canes enter with a 7-5-0-3 record on home-ice this season but are 1-3-0-1 in their last five games at the ENMAX Centre.
The Tigers (19-7-1-0) have been off since an 8-3 win over the Hurricanes on Tuesday at the Canalta Centre. Ryan Chyzowski and Brett Kemp each had four points in the victory. Medicine Hat enters with a league-best 19 victories on the season, while they’ve posted a 9-5-0-0 record away from home this year.
Tonight will be the fifth of eight meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Tigers; Medicine Hat has won three of the previous four meetings as Lethbridge has posted a 1-1-0-2 record on the year.
