GAME DAY: Hurricanes End First Half Against Tigers in Medicine Hat
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will end the first half of the season tonight at 7:00pm when they visit the Medicine Hat Tigers at Co-op Place.
The Hurricanes (15-14-2-0) enter on a three-game losing streak after suffering a 5-2 loss to the Regina Pats on Friday at the ENMAX Centre. Brayden Edwards and Noah Chadwick scored in the defeat while Koen Cleaver made 22-saves in his first home start in the WHL. The ‘Canes outshot the Pats 36-27 in the contest. Lethbridge enters tonight with a 7-8-0-0 road record this year but have lost their last two road contests.
The Tigers (20-9-2-0) enter having suffered a 4-3 loss in Calgary to the Hitmen on Friday night. Cayden Lindstrom, Andrew Basha and Tomas Mrsic scored in the defeat while Zach Zahara suffered his first loss of the season with 32-saves. The Tigers outshot the Hitmen 41-36 in the contest. Medicine Hat enters tonight with a 9-3-2-0 record at home this season.
Tonight will be the third of nine meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Tigers; Lethbridge has posted a 1-1-0-0 record in the first two match-ups as the road team has won both meetings thus far.
