GAME DAY: Hurricanes End First Half Against Hitmen
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes end their first-half of the season tonight as they welcome the Calgary Hitmen at 7:00pm to the ENMAX Centre.
The Hurricanes (19-12-0-1) had their five-game winning streak end on Friday with a 6-0 loss to the Kelowna Rockets at the ENMAX Centre. It was the third shutout loss for the ‘Canes this season and first since the beginning of October. Lethbridge enters 8-2-0-1 in their last 11 games at home and are 14-4-0-1 in their last 19 games overall.
The Hitmen (15-9-3-1) enter having earned a 5-2 win in their last game last Sunday in Brandon against the Wheat Kings. Zac Funk led the way for the Hitmen with two goals and three assists in the context while Riley Fiddler-Schultz had a three-point effort. Calgary enters play tonight with a 9-5-2-0 record on the road this season.
Tonight will be the first of seven head-to-head meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Hitmen. Last season, the ‘Canes posted a 7-1-0-0 record in eight contests against Calgary.

VS. HITMEN: Tonight will be the first of seven meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and Hitmen.
