GAME DAY: Hurricanes Continue 3-in-3 Versus Ice
Lethbridge, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes continue a three-in-three weekend tonight as they welcome the Kootenay Ice to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.
The Hurricanes (22-11-4-4) were handed a 5-1 loss on Friday against the Edmonton Oil Kings which ended a three-game winning streak. Adam Hall scored the lone goal in the losing cause. The Hurricanes enter play tonight with a one point cushion on top spot in the Central Division.
The Ice (8-28-6-1) have been off since suffering a 3-2 loss on Wednesday in Lethbridge against the Hurricanes. Kootenay enters play tonight second last in the WHL standings and have only earned two wins in their last 32 games.
Tonight will be the fifth of six meetings on the season between the Hurricanes and the Oil Kings; the ‘Canes are 4-0-0-0 against the Ice this season and 10-1-0-0 in the last 11 head-to-head meetings.
