Prince George, BC – Charles Inglis scored his second goal of the game at 9:53 of the third period to break a 3-3 tie lifting the Prince George Cougars to a 4-3 home ice win over the Calgary Hitmen Wednesday night at CN Centre.
Jimmy Bubnick, with a natural hat trick, scored all three goals for Calgary who trailed 2-0 after one and 3-0 late in the second period.
Bubnick now has a team leading 12 goals on the season. Misha Fisenko had three assists.
Nick Buonassisi and Brett Connolly also scored for Prince George who moves two points ahead of Vancouver for first place in the BC Division.
The loss drops the Calgary record to 6-20-1-0.
The Hitmen will play game two of their three game BC road trip Friday night in Vancouver.
