The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club selected defenceman Ethan Alsip the 166th overall pick in the eighth round of the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft.
Alsip, a product of Winnipeg, MB, played Bantam with b1 AAA Winnipeg Warriors this past season. The 5’10″133-pound defenceman got 38 points (13g, 26a) in 36 games.
“Ethan is a defenceman who has good mobility and is just coming into his own. He has a long reach and is strong defensively but also scored 13 goals this season”, said Hitmen Director of Player Personnel Dallas Thompson.
