Zalitach Set to Represent Team West

The Vancouver Giants are proud to announce that defenceman Reid Zalitach has been selected by Hockey Manitoba and the Saskatchewan Hockey Association to represent Team West at the 2013 World Junior Under 17 Hockey Challenge.

Zalitach, a second-round pick in the 2011 Bantam draft, has played 14 games with the Giants so far this season.

The World Junior Under 17 Hockey Challenge will take place from December 29, 2012 to January 4, 2013 in Victoriaville/Drummondville, Quebec.

Fellow Giants, Payton Lee (Team Pacific) and Thomas Foster (Team Pacific) will also take part in the tournament.
