U-17 Wrap – Lee, Foster, and Zalitach
Giants’ Goalie Payton Lee helped backstop Team Pacific to fifth place in the U-17 Hockey Challenge. Lee played four games and ended the Tournament with a 3-1 record, registering a 4.88 Goals Against Average and a Save Percentage of .831.
Fellow Giant and Team Pacific teammate, Thomas Foster, played in all five games and registered an assist and two penalty minutes.
Giants’ defenceman, Reid Zalitach, represented Team West who finished ninth in the Tournament. Zalitach played all five games for Team West and had eight penalty minutes.
Sweden took home the gold, Russia took the silver and Team USA finished with the bronze in this year’s U-17 Hockey Challenge.
