Pre-Game Report: Giants at Silvertips
The Vancouver Giants (4-9-2-1) will head down the I-5 to visit the Everett Silvertips (7-4-0-1) on Saturday night at the Xfinity Arena. Catch the action on TSN 1410, beginning with the Pre-Game Show at 6:00pm. Puck drop is at 7:05pm.

The G-Men lost a hard fought game on Friday, falling 2-1 to the Kamloops Blazers at the Pacific Coliseum. New Vancouver goaltender Daniel Wapple stopped 19 of 21 shots. The 20-year-old now has a 3.08 goals against average and a 0.907 save percentage in ten games this season. Radovan Bondra had the Giants’ only goal on Friday, snapping a six game goal drought. Chase Lang assisted on the goal. The Nanaimo native has three points in four games since being acquired from Calgary.
The Silvertips also played on Friday, edging the Prince George Cougars 2-1 in overtime on home ice. Kevin Davis scored in the extra period as the ‘Tips have had a different player score the game winning goal in each of their seven victories. The Everett club has only played 12 games so far this season while every other team in the Western Conference has played at least 15. The Silvertips have also only scored 26 goals this season, the lowest total in the league. The next closest team has 40.
