Holt and Semchuk in U17 Quarter-Final
Vancouver Giants forwards Dawson Holt and Brendan Semchuk will face-off against each other on Thursday when Team Canada Black takes on Team Canada Red in a quarter-final matchup at the 2015 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge. Puck drop is scheduled for 1:30pm at North Peace Arena in Fort St. John, BC.

Holt suited up in all three games for Team Canada Black in the preliminary round as they picked up one win and two losses. The Saskatoon native was chosen eighth overall by the Giants in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft. The 16-year-old has tallied four assists in 12 games with the G-Men this season.
Semchuk played all three preliminary round games for Team Canada Red who went 3-0. The 16-year-old also went in the first round of the 2014 Bantam Draft at 10th overall to the Giants. The Kamloops native has seen the ice in 10 games for the Giants this season.
