Fisher Sinks Giants
The Vancouver Giants dropped a 5-2 decision to the Victoria Royals on Wednesday afternoon at the Pacific Coliseum. Radovan Bondra and Taylor Crunk scored Vancouver’s goals.

Tyler Soy gave the Royals the lead at 6:15 of the first period, scoring from the right circle after a pretty cross-ice feed from Joe Hickets. The Giants struck back with two goals just 1:02 apart later in the frame to take a 2-1 lead. Bondra bagged his eighth of the season on a rebound before Crunk shovelled a loose puck past Victoria goaltender Griffen Outhouse.
Former Giant Vladimir Bobylev tied the game for Victoria on a power play early in the second period, and exactly a minute later, Logan Fisher scored his first of the night and the eventual game winning goal. Fisher would add another marker before the end of the second period before scoring into an empty net late in the third to complete a natural hat-trick.
Ryan Kubic made 30 saves in the losing cause for the G-Men.
