Baer and Osipov Named to 2015 NHL Scouting Futures List

Alec Baer and Dmitry Osipov are 2 of 19 Western Hockey League players who have been named to NHL Central Scouting’s Futures North American List for the 2015 NHL Draft.

Baer had 18 points (8 goals, 10 assists) in 60 games with the Giants last season. The 5’10”, 150lbs, Minnesota native had 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) in 4 post season games with Vancouver.

Osipov was drafted first overall by the Giants in last year’s Canadian Hockey League Import Draft. The 6’3″, 190lbs, Russian defenceman had 3 goals in 54 games with Vancouver last season.
