Titlbach, Tomík Named to Preliminary Rosters for 2026 World Juniors
LANGLEY, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants are proud to announce that two players have been named to preliminary rosters for their respective countries for the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship: forwards Adam Titlbach (Czechia) and Tobias Tomík (Slovakia).
Titlbach, 19, was named to the 26-man roster that Czechia announced on December 3 and Tomík, 18, was named to the 28-man preliminary roster that was announced by Slovakia on December 2.
Titlbach is on pace for a career season, currently sitting fifth in team scoring with 19 points in 27 games (7G-12A). He is approaching the century mark for career points, with 94 so far in 161 career WHL games (43G-51A). The Litvinov, Czechia product was the Giants first pick in the 2023 CHL Import Draft.
Tomík, 18, has scored four goals and added five assists so far in his first WHL season. The Trencin, Slovakia native played pro last season for HK Dukla Trencin and is eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft. He was the Giants first round pick in the 2024 CHL Import Draft.
The 2026 World Juniors run from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5 in St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
