Friday October 4 @ Brandon Wheat Kings, 5:30pm [PDT] (Team 1410)

• Dalton Thrower will make his debut as both a Vancouver Giant and the newest captain of the Giants in Brandon as the Giants take on Ryan Pulock and the Wheat Kings.
• Ryan Pulock, who was sent back to the Wheat Kings earlier this week, was drafted by the New York Islanders 15th overall in the 2013 National Hockey League Draft. Before being assigned to the Wheat Kings, Pulock signed an entry-level contract with the Islanders.

Saturday October 5 @ Moose Jaw Warriors, 6:00pm [PDT] (Team 1410)

• The Giants visit former Giant Zach Hodder in Moose Jaw against a Warriors team that is without Morgan Rielly.
• Vancouver native Morgan Rielly is still with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Rielly, a fifth overall pick by the Leafs in 2012 National Hockey League Draft, has been a scratch in both games the Leafs have played so far.

Tuesday October 8 @ Prince Albert Raiders, 6:00pm [PDT] (Team 1410)

• Josh Morrissey and the Prince Albert Raiders play host to the Giants.
• Josh Morrissey, the 13th overall pick by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2013 National Hockey League Draft, already has 5 points (2 goals, 3 assists) in 3 games with the Raiders so far this season. Morrissey and Giants’ forward Jackson Houck met at the Young Stars Classic in the beginning of September when Houck and the Oilers faced Morrissey and the Jets.

Wednesday October 9 @ Saskatoon Blades, 6:05pm [PDT] (teamradio.ca)

• Dalton Thrower will be visiting his former team for the first time since being acquired by the Giants in the off-season.
• Dalton Thrower will play his first game at the Credit Union Centre as a member of the visiting team. The newest captain of the Giants will be playing against a team he called his own for four seasons.
